La Guitarra con Sazon: Authentic Peruvian Seafood Experience in Houston

The service was very quick and the waitress very attentive. We went for lunch on a week day and we were the only group there. The order was taken very quickly and the food was served very fast. The temperature was fine and the food tasted very good. All the ingredients felt fresh.

We discovered this gem through a friend. What a great find. The food is incredible. I experienced a dish of fettuccine with tenderloin, tomatoes, onions and spices cooked in a wok. What fantastic flavors of food combinations. This is by far my favorite. The Ceviche does not disappoint. There are various selections. The appetizers are plentiful and delicious. The desserts are in house made and phenomenal. Tres Leche is divine and don't pass up the upside down flan. Treat your tastebuds. Chips and sauce is fantastic. If you aren't sure of the translations the waitress is happy to educate you. One of my new favorite restaurants and we definitely will return. Ask to have the red corn drink it is phenomenal.

I've been wanting to try it for a while and today we did. I ordered Tacu Tacu de Lomo and it was delicious. The tenderloin was full of flavor and soft and tender. The beans sauteed with rice are delicious. It was all very good! All the food we ordered had tons of flavor. The maracuya pitcher was a hit with everyone! I'm definitely going back!

First time here and WOW! The salsa with chips is Devine and Super HOT! The Tamal Peruano and the Choritos a La Chalaca were excellent! I loved the lemon juice resting in each spoon waiting for my mouth to open up! If you have not tried this place yet, you have to go!

Great food and portions for their dinner plates. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and chill music. The waitress was attentive and helpful in answering menu questions. Highly recommend to get some delicious peruvian food

I had arranged to come to this place a couple of years ago. The visit was not in vain. The dishes have an excellent presentation and the flavors keep their typical secrets. I'll come again to try the Ceviche. An excellent service at all.

The food nd service was fantastic! Loved every bite of the Aji de Gallina and Lomo Saltado, and puruvian ceviche is the top!

Not going to lie, this is easily in my top 3 Peruvian foods in Houston and i’ve been to several places. Definitely a must go place. If going there I would recommend obviously the Ceviche for starter, go with fish the original ceviche! For main dish I would go with seco de res for amazing flavor or with an Aji de gallina if you want something more traditional. As for dessert anything goes but if you’re able to get your hands on suspiro limeño you will definitely want more!
